Loch Ness Monster
The Loch Ness Monster is one of the worlds most famed cryptids in the world. With about over 30 sightings a day, it has even been said that the monster is a land creature, also!! (Take a look at the last couple of photos.) Robert Rines, a specialist in sonar, holds over 80 of the sonar patents. He has conducted many search expeditions to find the monster with his advanced sonar technology. In fact, the third photo you see here is a sonar picture taken of what is thought to be the monster, dead, at the bottom of the lake.
The first photo you see is thee most famous photo of the monster, called the Surgeon's Photograph. You may have seen it before, but it has been proven that it's a fake. A man named Maraduke Wetherall hired his stepson, Tristan Sperling, (who was an expert in modeling) to make him a little monster head on a toy submarine. Think of it this way- a kid's toy had tricked the world for over 60 years.
The very first written account, though, in 565 A.D., when an Irish missionary, St. Columbia, was informed by a man that in the near river (River Ness, not Loch Ness Lake), a man was being attacked by a monster. St.Columbia rushed to the river, to find a "Water Snake" torturing an innocent man. Columbia raised his staff, and made the sign of the cross, and shouted, "Go no further. Do not touch the man. Go back at once." The monster fled in terror, and the man that was mauled and dragged down under the water, Columbia, and all of their companions praised God for the good luck and the miracle that had happened.

lochnessmonster1.jpg
This is a photo of what was found along the shores of lake Loch Ness. Some people were hiking along this trail, and came back about an hour later to find this tree ripped out of the ground...and many more. This is another piece of evidence to the theory that the monster has the ability to crawl and move across land.
lochnessmonster2.jpg
These are the branches torn apart from the tree in the last photo. Notice the bite marks. The theory here is that the monster was crawling around, and tore a bunch of trees out of it's way.

This is the entire path that was cleared out by the monster.
